The Plastic Footprint Network (PFN) is a service owned and developed by Association EA ECCO (Operating with the business name EA – Environmental action, and name EA in this document), non-profit organization registered under the Swiss law.

By using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full, If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any pat of these terms and conditions, you must use our website.

SUMMARY

By accessing material on The Plastic Footprint Network (PFN), you:  

  • Acknowledge that PFN owns the copyright in or has permission to use all materials (presentation, pictures, logos, reports, contents, downloadable files, etc.) displayed on this site. This material is for your personal use only. Therefore, you are not authorized to share the materials on PFN with others by copying or sending it to them.  

  • Understand that the PFN does not warrant or guarantee that any files that you download from its site are virus free. You are encouraged to use virus-checking software.  

  • Understand that the PFN contain link to other sites our resources provided by third parties but have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.   

  • Agree that PFN cannot be hold responsible for use or misuse of PFN materials even if the case of errors in the materials provided.

LINKS TO THE PLASTIC FOOTPRINT NETWORK MATERIALS

The Plastic Footprint Network has adopted this policy in the use of links: 

  • Links may not state or imply that PFN endorses any product of service of the linking organization or that there is any relationship between the organization without the prior permission of the PFN

  • PFN logo may not use without the prior permission of PFN

  • PFN content may not be framed on a linking site. The link must exit the linking site or open the PFN content in a new window

SUBSCRIBERS

By subscribing to our mailing list, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not subscribe.  

Actions we may take on your personal data: 

  • PFN will send you emails containing our data updates 

  • PFN may send you related e-newsletters 

  • PFN occasionally will send you email and mail invitations to participate in plastic-related events or to learn more about the topic and the services (webinars, conferences and meetings) 

  • PFN may occasionally send invitations to participate survey. All survey responses are compiled and reported anonymously 

  • PFN may supplement your personal data with behavioral information, subscriber information, event information or website information we have about you

CHANGE OF THE TERMS

We may modify these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions, in technology or in relevant laws and regulatory requirement and changes in our system. If we do so we will notify you by email to the email address you have provided us with, however we are not obliged to, and such modification shall be effective upon our posting of the revised terms on the website. You agree to be bound by and changes to these terms when you use our website and Services after any such modification is posted on the Website. 

TERMINATION

The Plastic Footprint Network will suspend or terminate your access to the website if PFN determines, in its reasonable discretion, that you have repeatedly breached these Terms of Use.  

USE OF LIKENESS

By participating in an PFN Virtual Events (webinars, live sessions etc…), you acknowledge and agree to grant PFN the right to record, film, livestream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to PFN includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use or disseminate the media.
